arnica cordifolia grows abundantly near my home in northwest montana. these powerful yellow flowers are wildcrafted and i obtain the properties of this plant through a slow process oil infusion. 
arnica is a member of the asteraceae plant family and energetically speaking this plant is warming and circulating. the active constituents stimulate and dilate blood vessels near the surface of the skin improving circulation and aiding in the recovery process.  common uses include bruising, arthritis flare-ups including osteoarthritis, muscle aches and soreness due to overexertion, sprains, and carpal tunnel.  works great for massage. this listing is for a 2 ounce jar of salve.

menthol crystals come from the steam distillation process of peppermint oil.  these crystals create a cooling sensation that soothes muscle spasms, aches, and cramping. 
salve ingredients: arnica flower infused oil, beeswax, menthol crystals, and essential oils. the essential oils used are eucalyptus, camphor,  and peppermint. it is not overpowering with scent, and the arnica has a wonderfully distinct scent on it own.
