tallow is one of the closest oils to our skin oil. which makes it easily absorbed and not overly greasy. grass-fed beef tallow is super nutritive and contains vitamins A, D, E, and K with a large amount of conjugated linoleic acid (CLA). CLA is an essential fatty acid that is known for its skin-nourishing abilities.
 
raw shea butter has a lot of benefits as well.  it aids in keeping moisture in the skin and is anti-inflammatory.  shea butter also contains vitamins A and E.
